When Hazel arrived, Sabrina was at school with Celia making gingerbread houses.  She was fine playing with just me until I sneezed.  It scared her to death poor kid.  She cried and cried for 20-30 minutes until Sabrina got home.  From then until lunchtime, the girls took turns hugging/choking eachother all morning.

Ate: 3 oz at 10:30, one mandarin orange and one cheese-covered English Muffin at 12:30, 3 oz at 1pm
Slept: 1-3:20

Today was "take boo boo Ga Ga to mom's work"  day (unpictured).   When we returned home around 12:30, Hazel just played  until lunch at 1.  After Celia got home,  all three girls were inseparable.

Ate: macaroni and cheese,  mandarins,  and apples at 1, 1.5oz at 2

Today was a relaxing day for the ladies.  

Ate: apples and mandarins in the high chair at 11:30.  Any other offerings were thrown back in my face with a scream.   4oz at noon.

Hazel learned how to get up on the couch today which led to some major cuddle sessions during a show.   They would trade of instigating the hug.   So cute.

Ate: macaroni and cheese with peas and some chopped apple in the high chair at 12:30, 4oz at 1:30

Hazel had a very big girl day today.   She began playing with the duck nativity.   At one point,  she threw a duck and started playing with something else.   After a few minutes,  I asked her where the duck was.   She looked at me and went and found it.   I showed her how to say "quack quack" and she held up the duck and said "cack cack!"   she then said it for the next hour and laughed and laughed.   She also loved getting in and out of the kid chair today.  

Ate: at noon, Hazel had 2 pancakes (I know that's what she had for breakfast, but she has to eat what Sabrina eats or she screams and point to Sabrina's plate... please don't send me anymore food!), some of the mac and cheese and peas packed for her, and a whole clementine, 4 oz at 1:15
Slept: 1:20 - 3:30

Lunch with all the ladies!   Celia's school was canceled today so she got to play too.  

Ate: 2oz at 11,  one banana, half a clementine,  some turkey,  and a string cheese in the high chair at 12:30,  4oz at 1.

Field trip day to see mom at work with cousin Sabrina!

Ate: 5oz at 11:25, field trip snacks: cheese and puffs, half an ounce at 4pm

Oh and as soon as we got home from the field trip,  Hazel gave herself a pretty puffy shiner when she shoved the corner of a board book into her eye.

Hazel enjoying a little "Jake and the Neverland pirates" after school.   She loves the songs and dances violently with lots of head shaking and falling over.

Slept: 1:25-2:25.  She was clearly super tired,  but scratched her ear and it was bleeding all over,  so she woke up in a fit,  poor girl.

Hazel discovered the play kitchen.   How she can open it,  empty it,  and eat it.   She also gave up her hard boiled egg at lunch to eat her foot.

I guess I have to be in today's picture too because Hazel is only happy if we're smashed cheek to cheek today.   She's never been this cuddly.   Clingy,  yes,  but cuddly,  no.   It's nice.   Cuddles are great.   She's super duper tired,  but hates sleeping at my house.   Poor girl.   So we're enjoying the cuddles.

Ate: 6oz at 10:30, 6oz at 12:30, macaroni and cheese and olives in the high chair at 2 (she won't eat the cheese sticks you send for her), 6oz at 4:20

Slept: 12:30-2 (best nap she's taken at my house in awhile, but still cuddly the rest of the day).

Hazel is preparing to take over the family cookie business.

Ate: 6oz at 11:15 and fell asleep, refused to eat any solids in her high chair at 12:30, 6oz at 1:45 (pretended she was falling asleep, finished the bottle, opened her eyes, cackled, thrust herself out of my arms and crawled out of the room)

Poop: Explosive poop at 12:50 (backup outfit used again)

Hazel celebrated Guy Fawke's Day with several successful plots to take down Sabrina.  And everytime I pried Sabrina's hair/glasses out of her iron grip, she would look at me and cry and cry like she was the victim here.  She's got her act down.  There's nothing more we can do to prepare her for Daycare.  She can successfully take down a 3-year-old, get the toy, and have a legitimate looking innocent face at the end of it. 

Ate: waffles, olives, and mum mums at noon, 6 oz at 1. 6oz at 4:15

Slept: Successfully fell asleep drinking said bottle at 1!  Slept until 2:20.

Blowout poop at 2:40.  (she needs a new alternate outfit in the bag.   Poopy shirt in plastic bag.)

Hazel,  leaving a sea of toys in her wake,  sat in her high chair and ate her tortellini.

Slept: put her down at 1:15, after screaming until 1:50, I went in and swaddled both arms and she fell asleep t right away and slept until I had to wake her up at 3:15 to go get Celia.

Despite it being day two of the government shutdown (and Hazel's awful diaper rash),  she seems to be in great spirits today.   Favorite pastime today: spreading the puffs all over the floor with her hand and then eating them.

Hazel is totally mad about the government shutdown.   Or it could be her new tooth.   Or something else entirely.   But she did find a few moments of bliss in our newly discovered bag of baby toys.   

Ate: 6oz at 11 :10,  puffs throughout the day,  container of bananas at 1:30 

Slept: 11:45-1,  

Pooped: explosive wet fart at 10:45, explosive diarrhea at 1:45.  Horrible diaper rash.   Cream lathered every diaper change. 

Meds: administered 1.25ml children's ibuprofen at 2pm

Hazel discovered Legos today.   She has a flavor for the green ones and the blue ones.

Ate: half of a mushed banana at 10:45.  When she was done,  she managed to rip the bowl from my hand and throw it across the room.   Message received.   6oz at 2.

Hazel really knows how to pull off a stroller.   She wears it well. She also discovered the slide.   She loves going down.   This is Hazel at   the top of the slide and the girls making sure she doesn't go backwards.

Hazel spent the morning playing with kids in the gym at the Church.   She spent her time chasing bouncy balls around.   Then she enjoyed our afternoon walk to get Celia at school.

22 august. Big day!

Hazel had a really big day today.   She ate a high heel that matched get shirt perfectly.   And then,  thanks to the motivation of chewing on remotes,  she officially crawled.   And then,  after I moved the remotes to the couch,  she pulled herself up.   Big girl!

Hazel is getting ready to crawl.  If you put something in front of her just out of reach, she will often pop up on knees and reach until she falls over, but she always gets it.  And she can, of course, roll to get anything else she wants.  It's hilarious to watch the girls set something up across the room and Hazel will start rolling and they'll pick it up and rebuild it behind the couch as quick as they can.  Silly girls.

Ate: 4 oz at 10:30, one stage one container of peas and one stage two container of sweet potatoes at 1pm, 4 oz at 2:10, mum mums at 4:15.
